So I am currently in the car, listening to Radio 1 Live Lounge (any one who lives in england, tune into FM 98.9 now, no commercials just pure live lounge, sooooo good)

Sorry for the face I haven't blogged in years... I've been in ipswich with no internet, and any photos I take I can't upload because, classic me, i have lost my memory card reader :( Speant $40 on a new memory card, massive rip off from pc world there. So I have no photos to show you, i can just do something complete out of the ordinary and purely write.

So the map says I have 33 minutes before I'll be home, woo. Then I'm going to the local pub with a couple of friends, and this week I;m just going into york with friends and maybe into hull if i cba;)

Soo I went shopping mad in ipswich ! Let me try and find some of the stuff I brought online and show youuuu it..

Theres just a few things I brought from Miss Selfridges, love that store.

Okay I've offically decided that I hate writing instead of posting pictures, so i'm going to go home, find my memory card and post some picccyyysss.

Couldn't care less about what movie wins repeatedly (cough cough kings speech...) oh and I love the opening scenes they do... might have to youtube that.

Sorry for the intense long time no speak, kind of been a crazy few weeks. I've been in and out of the country and with my birthday, no more metals, seeing friends, tons of work etc.

Fabrics: Faux Fur (Love love love love loooove - but hence the word F-A-U-X), Leather, Corduroy,

Pieces: Harem Pants (LOVE again), Ankle heel boots, lace up boots (classy ones - not tacky), Buckles, Denim (Not lots) , army items (Im not a huge fan of these but an occasional piece in an outfit looks lurvley)

Quite an eventful day, my family and I rented a private boat and had a guide drive us out to go whale watching - when we got out there we saw a trapped whale, so we spent the time saving the whale. It was amazing ! We got so close that the whale was under our boat (slightly terrifying). I'll be sure to include the photos in my next post.

So basically Summer days are still the same as ever... hot and tiring. But still amazingly fun. I've had a pretty busy weekend. To begin me and my friend Charlotte (dontacceptlimits.blogspot.com) entered in a run called the Mudathlon. www.mudathlon.com , basically it is 3.1 miles of MUD and obsticals ! It was amazingly fun !! Here is a photo of how muddy we got !:

And this is AFTER we took a shower !! Any way it was a full body work out and very intense ! But we did get free food + drink etc.. So the night before she slept round and we decided to switch personalitys (style wise) and we decided to jummpp! I also had some fun in the sprinklers... check out all the photos now ! So I have to start off with a big fat apology - sorry I haven't been blogging lately ! I've been a bit busy ! I got a brand new Film Camera ! Its the Nikon FM 10. And its beautiful ! I'm going to scan in all my film photos so you can see them ! That will be a different post though...

Now kids seem to be OBSESSED with silly bands lately... so I decided to get my self some... there great to photograph ! I also did some shopping ! Brand new shoes and a shirt ! I also got some skirts and dresses but I'll blog them another time... well hope you enjoy the photos.

Red Fort ! Man do I have a good story to go with this ! So basically I was with my dad , and we had a tour guide who was showing us around New Delhi. It was around 105°F, and I was wearing long white pants, a black flannel shirt , and a bathing suit underneath. I had decided to wear trousers just to be on the safe side... after seeing the movie Taken I was slightly creeped out. Plus the whole Malaria ... mosquito problem. I didn't get bitten once though !! Anyway our tour guide decided to go and see red fort... we agreed. We had to sit on the back of a bicycle pulled cart in the boiling heat... probably being the only westerners for miles ! Riding threw fast crazy Indian traffic... I was terrified ! At one point I think I started crying.... looking back I might of over reacted but it had been a long day... very hot... very scared ! We finally got there... was the journey worth it ? No... i don't think so. But luckily afterwards we went to the nearest hotel and relaxed:) <-- it even gets a smiley face !

So I am currently spending all day at the beach... then rehearsing for my play... then beach again... Basically taking photo's is pretty much impossible. So I was looking threw my handy iPhoto and I found some old photos from a family vacation to San Francisco... it was a few years ago but anyway here they are:

Such a cool water fountain... the middle pieces moved but so did the water so your eyes became very confused!

Stunning views from our house... you see that beige building in the distance ? Well that's San Quentin... you know .. the HUGE prison? Well we didn't know. So we decided to go visit it to see what it was... me being me thought it was Alcatraz... my family thought it was a state building or an art gallery. Well we pulled up... nope it was not an art gallery put San Quentin... woopies.

We visited Napa Valley... which is really beautiful.. it has a french feel with an American twist.

Finally side walk sales are here !! Probably my favorite type of shopping... Any way a local suburb of where I live has a small but great one... here are some of the photos of my finds!

I love these bracelets: they would go amazing with a block colored outfit !

Bargains !! I brought an amazing poster from a frame store that was reduced from $35 to $22. I know the price wasn't bad in the first place... Still a good $13 off ! It was an old french poster from an opera... I love it !!

Happy Fathers day to you all ! For fathers day we decided to take a trip into the city and visit the art institute of Chicago , fun stuff. So anyway here are the photos !

Those are just a few of my favorite art pieces, the photo above was actually a picture of maybe my favorite piece. The lights continued to change so different words lit up, it was really sweet. England game today! To be honest England are doing so badly I've given up caring about the score ! Six flags also today ! Ah I love the rides ! However its thunder storming pretty badly, so if I don't get to ride superman, I will explode like a child beauty pageant queen.

So hello everybody, sorry I haven't been blogging for a few days (slight technical difficulties)

Anyway I am back to doing another India Blog, fun stuff.

Anyway we have now moved onto Bangalore, which was probably my favorite destination of the trip. I was shown around by two Indian local women, they knew everything about the city so it was great to be able to experience places that others may not have been able to go. It was unbelievable ! I didn't take many photos (which I am kicking my self for !!) But I felt it was slightly rude to take photos of people kids... if they even cared :/

The jewelry was outstanding ! It was mostly silver, and the stone you see here. Silver is like a big thing in India so it was pretty expensive! The bracelet was around 300 dollars, (12,000 rupees ?), its very fun to argue and bargain the price.

Art Museum !

Yes I did get a henna ! The story is actually really good... I was walking through a market place in a reasonably busy part of Bangalore, and basically the women I was with asked a women where I could get a henna done , she told her 5 year old son to show us the way. When we got there we had to go down a small mud alley way and duck into a house made of cement, witch very small ceilings and the whole house was tiny ! The women I was with were extremely hesitant... but it was an elderly lady and her two very young sons. I thought the danger risk was low. Any way she did a "simple" pattern on the front and back of my hands... basically this dark layer rubs off and the Orange ink stays on. It was only meant to last about 3 or 4 days but as my body temperature was so hot it lasted 3 weeks !!

Capture The Moment - Evanston Days

So me and one of my friends, Emma, decided to go to a near by town, Evanston and check out the stores, restaurant and everything else. I've been to Evanston plenty of times but I decided to take photos.

We ate at this AMAZING place named Red Mango, this flavor is Tangomonium topped with strawberry and chocolate- yummy !

I love this tutu... American Apparel is the funnest place in the world clothing wise ! You can go crazy ! This is a black belly shirt paired with a silk white tutu.

Back to my shoe obsession !! All the shoe, all the other photos are also from urban outfitters ! Love this store !

We were searching for some kind of thrift store in which we could find cute clothes for a bargain, well we found this great place in which you can sell your clothes and then buy new ones !! We found coach purses for $20! And free people jeans for $16 !! It was brilliant !! The name of the place was Crossroads Trading Co. Be sure to check it out ! Here are some of our finds:

There is an adorable quaint alley names Bookman's Alley, down this alley is an old bookstore and paint store. Its very cute ! We also found a tarot reader ! My friend brought a great hat (unfortunately we found the same hat for half the price later!) And a store that sold really nice scarf's from India ! All these are photographed below:

Going for a spy theme here: (Sorry for the bad quality - my camera broke and I had to use photobooth !)

The other day I did a mini photoshoot with my friend Charlotte; here are some of the results. (Photo credit goes to my friend charlotte; her blog: dontacceptlimits.blogspot.com)

Weirdly a lot of the theme in this is Alice in Wonderland type photos. Also my obsession with shoes are also covered in this post. My friend found these shoes in a garage sale, originally from Germany !

Love them. The spy photos from the top are kind of a slick spy operation feel... mostly because of the black leather gloves. Talking about boots I found this great pair at lavintage.com , from the '80's and I am slightly in love with them.

Right now I am watching (500) Days of Summer. Its such a cute adorable movie, the main character (Summer), is played by Zooey Deschanel. She is a brilliant actress and the way she plays Summer is brilliant. The band, The Smiths is also featured. I looove this band !! My favorite song by them is definitely unloveable. I also love Vampire Weekend, Pheonix, all those Indie type bands.

Well I got to be going, my favorite part of the movie is noww !

India Photography Part 2

Capture the Moment - India Style.

So Im lazy and I havent been bothered to do one of my India blogs lately ! So here one is.

So basically I showed you some photos last time of Kerala, and here are a few more.

So there is something highly wrong with my computer, and it wont allow me to comment under my photos. So I have to talk about them here at the bottom !

Well basically I went with my father on his business trip, as you might be able to tell by the photo of wine glass (with water in!). You can see in the background blackberry's and laptops ! This is from when we ate lunch with his colleagues. So I was overall amazed by the culture and religion and the differences between the states and India. One thing that really struck me was the poverty and the lives that the kids there have to leave. Orphans on the streets, no food , no drink, alone. Working for hours. In Kerala there wasn't much but as I move onto later blogs you can really see. Also not alone children , mothers with young kids trying to provide, the elderly. There are hundreds of great websites you can go to if you want to help out the people in developing countries. One is http://www.foodrelief.org/ . Basically they help children around the world, by giving them a meal, or a few toys. If you look at the photos they can be really touching.

With this website you lend money to people to help them start there business. If you click the button "Lend" You can see all the people that really need a boost to help start. These loans can be anything from $25 to $100.

Sorry to go on and on about charities but it is something that is really close to my heart and any little amount can help!

Capture the Moment - India Style

So basically I took a trip to India a few weeks ago, and I decided to do a series of blogs based on the photos I took, also writing about my experience.

So my trip was spilt into three parts over a course of around 6 days. I went to New Delhi, then Bangalore then Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. Here are a few photos(trust me only a few!) from Thiruvananthapuram.

Basically I was shown around by this other western family who used to live in Idaho before moving to India for a few months. There were two girls , one around 7 and one around 11. Probably some of the nicest people I've met ! Any way they took me to the Taj hotel and we rode to the restaurant on the back of a golf cart. Terrifying! I took this photo whilst we were moving, pretty hard job to do !

They were showing me some of the beaches there, and I loved the effect of the ripped netting clashing with the cool blue sea.

I think this photo looks more like it was taken on Lake Michigan ! But we took a walk along a bridge and this view was stunning !

This was again on another beach. Im not sure what day of the week this was but I do remember that it was all the sailors day off. So they were all playing card games in the hut you see in the far left corner of this photo. This photo is actually somebody's house. That amazed me.

I took this photo during the more busy part of Thiruvananthapuram, these elephants are actually fake ! But there trunks move and the fake people on top dance, it honestly scared the crap out of me !!

We visited a famous temple and if you look you can see the man is bathing is "holy water". The place was packed as it was the Kerala new year that day. I love this picture.

This is a picture of the famous temple that I was talking about before, this is just a different side and is less busy !

I absolutely adore this photo. It shows the truth about India, everywhere we went there we men looking just like this working in the sand in boiling hot heat (110°). A lot with no water, looking like they were about to collapse. I felt dreadful... I really wished I could of helped. It also shows the globalization of India. Looking in the background you see a modern car and a tradition Indian taxi. The nation is developing fast.

Here is another one of my favorites, the guy was a bit miffed off that I was taking photos of him, oh well. I love this photo.

The taj restauraunt we went to was right on the beach, so I decided to take photos of the arabian sea. It was so bright and beautiful, loved it !!
